Disney Village Rules

Welcome to Disney Village and the Disney Parks Esplanade
Please comply with the following rules and regulations to ensure your safety and well-being:
Disney Village (including, but not limited to, the Esplanade, the access roads surrounding Lake Disney, the shops, restaurants and other leisure facilities) is a private property. In order to maintain a safe and pleasant environment, access to Disney Village will only be granted to individuals who comply with the rules laid down in these regulations. Certain venues in Disney Village have their own additional regulations. Please familiarize yourself with any such regulations and make sure you abide by them, along with the rules listed below.
1. Access to Disney Village:
For everyone's safety, Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. reserves the right to visually inspect or to check with specific devices, visitor's clothes, coats and and personal belongings upon entering Disney Village and once inside the grounds. Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. reserves the right to refuse entry to any person refusing to comply with this inspection.
Please note that the following items may not be brought into Disney Village:
- Illicit or hazardous substances, alcoholic beverages, glass bottles or dangerous objects (notably offensive or defensive weapons of any type) or objects that appear to be weapons or toy guns (also including toy blasters, squirt guns, etc.), that could endanger visitors' security, are prohibited.
- Items that may disturb other visitors (vuvuzelas, loud speakers, horns, etc.);
- Any recreational devices such as drones and remote control toys
- Any item that Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. may deem inappropriate or disruptive.

Proper dress is required at all times. Top and bottom garments and footwear must be worn.

We also reserve the right, at our own discretion and at any given time, to refuse entry to, or to remove from, Disney Village any person wearing any type of costume, makeup or tattoo that is likely to offend, shock or scare children and a family-oriented public or that Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. may deem inappropriate, and any person posing as a costumed Character that could encourage interaction with or disturb other visitors. Clothing that drags the ground is prohibited. The same applies to accessories that may be considered dangerous (capes, sticks, etc.). For safety reasons, the only visitors authorized to wear a mask or clothing that fully covers the face are those with a valid medical reason to do so. Costumes and masks may not be worn by any visitors ages 12 or older (unless required for medical purposes). When worn by younger visitors, masks must provide unobstructed peripheral vision at all times with openings that allow the eyes to be fully seen.

When private events are organised, specific rules may apply. Please familiarize yourself with any such rules by consulting the specific material put together for these events.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult to be granted entry to Disney Village. All minors, irrespective of their age, remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians, who will be held liable for any damage they may cause.

Animals are not allowed into Disney Village, with the exception of guide dogs and assistance dogs. They must remain on a lead at all times and be kept under control by their owner.

Please keep Disney Village and its facilities clean for the comfort and enjoyment of all visitors. Group picnics requiring specific equipment (such as a cool box or table) are not permitted in Disney Village. For your convenience, a specific picnic area is located between the car park and the entrance to the Parks.

Begging is prohibited inside Disney Village, as is the sale and/or exchange of goods and/or services.
Management reserves the right to close certain shows, restaurants, shops or facilities without prior notice as and when required (such as for seasonal closure or refurbishment).
2. Safety of people and property:
The consumption of alcohol is regulated in Disney Village. Only alcoholic beverages sold in Disney Village's bars and restaurants may be consumed on-site.

Theft, public disorder, verbal and physical violence, insults, fraud, cheating, drunken or indecent behaviour, malevolence, violations of safety regulations, racial taunts, discrimination or behaviour of any kind that could constitute a criminal offence may result in Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. taking the appropriate action, which may include informing the police, filing a complaint or removing the visitor from Disney Village without any right to compensation, refund or indemnity of any kind.

Reckless running and the use of roller blades, bicycles or any other recreational means of transport, motorised or otherwise, is strictly prohibited unless special dispensation has been granted by Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. or a valid medical certificate is produced.

Deliberately obstructing visitors' access or preventing their free circulation is strictly prohibited, as is hindering the proper functioning of security and safety devices.

Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. cannot be held liable for the theft, loss or damage to personal belongings within Disney Village, and reserves the right to handle abandoned items in the way it deems most appropriate, assisted by the competent authorities. Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. cannot be held liable for acts constituting force majeure that result in the evacuation of Disney Village.

Any picture, video, sound recording or photo taken by visitors in Disney Village may be used for strictly personal and non-commercial purposes only, unless express written authorisation has been obtained from Euro Disney Associés SCA prior to the visit.

Any individual who does not comply with the rules and regulations laid down in this document may be removed from Disney Village unless special dispensation has been granted by Euro Disney Associés S.C.A.

These regulations may be subject to change. They are available for consultation on our website, www.disneylandparis.com. Please familiarize yourself with the regulations each time you visit Disney Village.

You are also advised to familiarize yourself with the specific regulations for Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.
This site is equipped with a video surveillance system operated by Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. The aforementioned system has been installed to guarantee the safety of both people and property. Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. is responsible for managing the system in accordance with current regulations and legislation.
